abt_half I was born in the year of 1960 in Germany.
From 1979 to 1985 I studied at the University of Goettingen (PH) and Aachen (RWTH) and attended art workshops and symposiums in several countries.

After working many years as a Primary school teacher, I have taught Art at both International and German schools and has given various workshops for adults and children in Germany, Norway and Oman.

In the past few years I participated in Solo-and Group exhibitions in these countries, especially in Muscat/Oman, where I lived for 7 years with my husband and daughter:
In the Omani Society for Fine Art (May 2006, January 2010), Bait Zubair (Art for Atta), the German Ambassador Residence (March 2007, March 2008), Bait Muzna Gallery (2008), German House (2010), in the Art Centre of PDO (Petroleum Development Oman) and in Sohar Beach Hotel (December 2006). I am a member of the Omani Society for Fine Arts.

My paintings are mostly in private collections all over the world.
In Oman/Muscat they were placed in Galleries and Hotels (Bait Muzna Gallery, Madina Art Gallery, Al Tahal Gallery, Midan Suite Hotel) in the German Ambassador Residence, in the Art Centre from PDO and in the Al Qabas Clinic.

In autumn 2010 I moved back to Stavanger/Norway.
